Star ratings
A 5-star widget on every card. For ZOO items the average and count write back to ZOO Number elements — your ratings live in your CMS.
Spotlight items
Promote any item to a dedicated tier: bigger size, custom badges, animated borders, glow rings, drop shadows and date schedules.
Glass + adaptive
Default, frosted Glass over hero images, or Adaptive — the card background samples its image’s dominant colour with contrasting text picked for you.
Favourites
Every card gets a heart. Logged-in visitors save to a per-user table and filter to just their favourites. Logged-out users get a friendly nudge.
Live search & tags
Type-as-you-type filtering across title, content, meta and tags, plus a filter chip for every unique tag. No reload, no round-trip.
Built like it should be
Built against the real shared-hosting hellscape
Most plugins look great in the demo and crumble on real hosting. This one shipped with receipts.
Self-healing tables
Every AJAX call runs CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS first — because installer scripts silently fail on some shared hosts.
Three-tier HTTP fetch
Joomla HttpFactory → cURL → file_get_contents. We have seen HttpFactory return zero-byte bodies, and we will not gaslight you about it.
Stale-cache fallback
If an API blinks, you get the previously cached payload instead of an empty grid. Your visitors never see the outage.
Hardened by default
SSRF guard on every server fetch, CSRF-checked favourite & rating writes, TLS never silently downgraded. Independent review passed.
Diagnostic mode
Append ?sgdebug=1 to any URL for a full inspection comment: every source decision, cache hit and API call.
Speaks six languages
English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish and Italian — visitor-facing dates localise themselves automatically.

- Download the install zip from your YOOzeCase account.
- Install via Joomla → Extensions → Manage. Drag the zip, click Upload.
- Drag the Smart Grid element from the A YOOzeCase Company group onto a page.
- Pick a source — manual items, a YouTube handle, or a Joomla category.
- Pick a preset, save, and admire your handiwork on the front-end.
