1. Who we are

A YOOzeCase Company is a registered trade name of Dattan, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 54879973, Voorhaven 10, 3024 RM Rotterdam, The Netherlands. We are the controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

This policy applies to yoozecase.com and all its subdomains, including shop.yoozecase.com, updates.yoozecase.com and connect.yoozecase.com.

2. What data we collect and why

2.1 Account data

When you create an account we collect your name, email address, username and password (stored encrypted). We use this to give you access to your downloads, license keys and support, and to inform you about important changes to products you use. Legal basis: performance of a contract.

2.2 Purchases

Purchases are processed by Link, LLC, operating as Lemon Squeezy (formerly Lemon Squeezy, LLC), our Merchant of Record. During checkout, Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email address, billing address, VAT number (for businesses) and payment details. We never see or store your full payment details. Lemon Squeezy processes this data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. We receive your order details (name, email, product, order number, license key) to deliver the product and provide support. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legal obligations (such as tax administration).

2.3 License activation and updates

When our software validates a license or checks for updates, our servers process your license key, the domain name of the website where the software is installed, an installation identifier, the product name and version, and the IP address of the request. We use this to activate licenses, enforce activation limits, deliver updates and prevent abuse. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in protecting our software against misuse.

2.4 Support

When you contact us we process your name, email address and the content of your message, so we can help you. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in providing support.

2.5 Newsletter

If you sign up for our newsletter we process your email address. We only send the newsletter after you confirm your subscription (double opt-in). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email. Legal basis: your consent.

2.6 Analytics and statistics

We use tools that help us understand how the Website is used, grouped under the "Statistics" category in our cookie settings. These currently include Google Analytics and Ahrefs Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless tool that collects aggregated statistics without tracking you individually. Statistics tools that place cookies or similar identifiers, such as Google Analytics, are only loaded after you allow the "Statistics" category in the cookie settings; Google Analytics anonymizes IP addresses. Because we occasionally add or replace tools, the cookie settings on the Website always show the current list. Legal basis: your consent, and for cookieless statistics our legitimate interest in understanding Website usage.

2.7 Google user data (Search Console connection)

Some of our Software, currently Traffic Boost Indexing, can connect your website to your Google Search Console account through Google sign-in (OAuth). After you give permission on Google's consent screen, the plugin can list your Search Console properties, submit sitemaps, inspect URLs and show search performance statistics for your own website, directly in your website's administrator interface.

This connection is designed so that we do not receive your Google data:

  • The access and refresh tokens that Google issues are stored only on your own website, encrypted (AES-256) with a key derived from your site's own secret. They are never stored on our servers.
  • Our connection service at connect.yoozecase.com only relays the token exchange and token refresh between your website and Google, because Google requires an application secret that cannot be shipped inside the plugin. Tokens pass through this service over an encrypted connection and are not stored or logged there; the service only keeps short-lived technical anti-abuse data (one-time nonces and rate-limit counters), which never contains tokens.
  • Search Console data, such as your property list, search statistics and URL inspection results, is retrieved by your own website directly from Google's APIs and shown in your administrator interface. We do not receive, store or see this data.
  • The email address of the connected Google account is stored on your website and shown in the plugin settings, so you can see which account is connected.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, and it is not transferred to anyone except to provide the feature you enable or to comply with applicable law. You can revoke access at any time with the Disconnect button in the plugin, or via your Google account permissions. Legal basis: performance of a contract and your consent given on Google's consent screen.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies, grouped into categories that you manage yourself in the cookie settings (the "Privacy Settings" panel) on the Website:

  • Functional: strictly necessary for the Website to work, such as session cookies and remembering your cookie choice. Always active, no consent required.
  • Preferences: remember your choices to give you a more personalized experience. Only placed after your consent.
  • Statistics: help us measure and improve how the Website performs (see section 2.6). Only placed after your consent.
  • Marketing: used by advertising partners to show you relevant advertisements. Only placed after your consent.

You choose per category, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the "Manage settings" option in the cookie notice. The cookie settings always show the complete, up-to-date list of the specific services in each category; because we add or remove tools over time, that panel is the authoritative overview of what we actually use. Tools that are cookieless and do not store information on your device may run without placing a cookie.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Lemon Squeezy (Link, LLC, USA): checkout, payment, invoicing, license keys and newsletter delivery;
  • our hosting provider: hosting of the Website and our update and license servers within the EU;
  • the third-party services you enable through the cookie settings, such as analytics and marketing providers. The current list of these services, grouped by category, is always shown in the cookie settings on the Website. Depending on your choices this may include, for example, Google (analytics and advertising) and Ahrefs (cookieless analytics).

Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep data

  • Account data: for as long as your account exists, and up to 12 months after deletion for abuse prevention;
  • Order and invoice data: 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law;
  • License activation logs: for the duration of the license plus 12 months;
  • Support correspondence: up to 24 months after the last contact;
  • Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe;
  • Analytics data: in aggregated form, without personal identification.

6. Security

We protect your data with appropriate technical and organizational measures, including TLS encryption on all our domains, encrypted password storage, access restrictions and hardened servers for license validation and updates.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete and receive a copy of your personal data, the right to restrict or object to processing, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. We respond within one month.

If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we add new services. The version published on the Website applies. For material changes we will notify account holders by email.
