The Marker engine draws one rectangle behind all lines. The Flowing engine draws per line, so every wrapped line keeps its own rough left and right edge:

Set Reveal animation to Draw in and the line sketches on as it scrolls into view. Fade in works on any element. Visitors who prefer reduced motion simply see everything at once.

Set Reveal animation aside - the Theme presets (Primary, Secondary, Muted) now read your real YOOtheme Customizer colours, so a doodle matches your site automatically. Any other colour? Use the Custom picker.
