Magic Menus

A playful menu element for YOOtheme Pro. Hover over a button and the elevator doors slide open to reveal the floor behind them, then click to step in. On phones the first tap previews a floor and the second tap follows, so it just works on touch.

In your own brand colours

Every colour is adjustable: wall, floor, cabin, doors, buttons and the active lamp. So the menu matches any brand.

Transparent, no decor

No wall and floor needed? Set the background to transparent and the elevator floats on your own section background.

Yes. The elevator scales down and stays usable; the first tap previews a floor and the second tap follows the link. You can optionally replace it with a plain button list on phones.

The buttons are real links with visible focus, full keyboard control and a tap target of at least 44 pixels. The elevator visual is decorative, so screen readers just see a normal navigation menu.

No. The element uses only modern CSS and vanilla JavaScript: one CSS file and one JS file, nothing else.

Yes. For each floor you set your own interior image or colour, which appears behind the doors.

The elevator is the first theme. The architecture has a theme layer, so more machines can be added later without a rebuild.
